Using Freenode Webchat

  1. Choose a nickname.
  2. Type the name of the channel you would like to join.
  3. Type the reCAPTCHA text.
  4. Connect.

Using an IRC-client

  • Connect to server irc.freenode.net , or click on irc://irc.freenode.net/glest if your browser is set up to handle the irc protocol.
  • Type: /join #glest
