Good Strategies[edit]
When playing as Tech
(1 Get lots of archers. They are very good when your opponent is still weak.) (2 Get lots of workers and mine gold and harvest trees only, because tech does not use much stone!) (3 Get some horsemen once in a while when your opponent starts to get strong)
When playing as Magic
(1 Get a bunch of daemons, and initiates) (2 Turn a little less then half of your initiates in to battlemages) (3 With the other initiates have them mine gold, stone, and build energy sources)
Sorry I don't have any tips for Indians and Norsemen. --72.236.109.145 01:03, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Thanks for reading!--72.236.109.145 01:03, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Cleanup[edit]
This article could use a massive cleanup. Because of the large size of the article and its disorganization, it would benefit from being broken into smaller sub pages (ie: Strategies/Turtling). Also, it should be sorted out and catigorized, with links to these subpages. I may get around to this eventually, though anyone else is welcome to do so, and is encouraged as well! Please consider using the In use template ({{In-use}}) to prevent people from modifying the page while you are trying to clean it up. GG Hofmic Talk 02:47, September 14, 2010 (UTC)
Commencing Cleanup[edit]
I will be commencing a major cleanup of this page now. Please do not edit it until I remove the {{In-useTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/pieceTemplate:T/piece}} template. Definitions[edit]
Define: Strategy versus tactics
We need something like this distinction posted in here - someone got some good definitons for beginners to the concept of warcraft? And no, not Warcraft. The term existed centuries before Blizzard Entertainment, heh.
Here's some examples I can think of: The tactics are stuff like building 2 barracks on "Tech and Magic" or making 3 battle mages for early rushes on almost any map where you start as magic. Strategy is going for antiair units on a 'cut-off' or trees map, or going for air units yourself. The strategy side of taking 4 mages into your enemy's base is cutting them off early so that you can get some time to breath while catching back up with the rest of the players.71.196.246.113 00:58, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
