The teamcolor in glest is the alpha-channel(transparency) of the textures. you can choose if you want to use transparency or teamcolor for your object by the following:

!! attention very strange !! This is done by selecting single sided or double sided rendering in blender!?! I don't know why, but this is the way it is. All models in glest are rendered doublsided, so probabaly someone decided to use it to switch the team color usage. This "doublesided" attribute also occures in the exported xml.

How to do:

  • In object mode select your mesh.
  • ( 1 ) select Editing
  • ( 2 )switch between doublesided(teamcolor) and singlesided(transparency)
